Update:

Have tried to increase LAN/CPU performance by:
Changing PNG's to GIF's - small trade off in quality - better animation
Have a new folder called buttonstore - images only get loaded when required - faster startup.
Just got hold of an airpanel - 1028x768 - looks like a redraw coming up or maybe new design if I can't get the perfomance at this res.

Lite version here for anyone wanting it.

Very nice work - I agree the transitions are a cool touch - I really like the old diner jukebox look. As for the black screen at start-up -(and this is for people who want to check out the skin I'm sure rorsdors knows this) none of the screens are designated to be the start screen. Once you get the black start up screen - bring up the skin editor - find the screen named START.XML in the GOTO tab and check the START UP SCREEN check box. It should load correctly after that. Anyways, great job, look forward to seeing it completed and posted.

Starting with an "unlit" screen was intentional - it meant to indicate the jukebox powering up. Once the loaduo sequence is complete it should automatically then go through 2 screens that flash the lights, light the neon sign at the bottom and turn on the internal light.

BaddaBing is spot on with the start screen being the startup screen - it is checked, so I don't know why it may be unchecked when you d/l it

It works here but let me know where it sticks, I''ll try to fix

Downloaded fresh copy - now it works - don't know if you changed anything or if it was just a corrupted download - or just a screw up on my part

You know, its too bad that Xlobby doesn't support animations - I can just image this skin with Wurlitzer style bubble lights. Again, cool skin.

no - not changed the file online. Maybe if you jump to the black menu screen (theres nothing on that screen) I need to change the start screen to menu

Looks like a very astonishing skin you have made.

I have however problems opening the skin. I get the "...can't get resources from the resource file..(or something)" error. I do not encounter any problems with other skins.

Do you know what could be the problem (what do I miss?)?

Do you have all appropriate fonts installed? Do you have the resource file installed correctly? Make sure there is no extra folder nesting in the skin. Try to download again maybe something got broken and is corrupt.

I have all fonts installed, including those supplied with the skin, all subfolders etc. are checked for, I have downloaded the skin numerious times...I most miss something, just have to figure out what it is.... ;o) - again other skins are working good (including yours Colby)
