Music Replay Gain

Replay Gain like foobar has would be really nice to have in Xlobby.

What is music replay gain. I am at NAB in Las Vegas and do not have time to go and look at foobar to see what this feature is.

Replay gain is the equalling of volume for playback material by adding a marker to the file.

in foobar I scan all the files and foobar adds a tag to the file telling how loud the track is. Then I can tell foobar that it should play files and honor the gain and that makes all my 5500 mp3's sound equally high. There is also the option of equalizing the actual mp3 but that is not good.

WinAmp supports it as well...

Its a very useful feature, especially if you listen to tracks in shuffle mode.
