XLobby and X10 Support

XLobby looks perfect - a way of using a front end to send x10 commands for lighting control.

So, the question is - the device itself cant control x10, so is there a way, such as sending a signal to the homeseer server so the lights can be controlled ??

yours hopefully...

I have only briefly used x10 devices, but i'm assuming you could use it in conjunction with girder and xlobby.

You can use the executable (command line) that comes with Homeseer or from X10 directly.

Assign a button to turn on light, to turn them off or to dim them. Then link the exe file with the appropriate parameters and off you go.

theboyg,

Check out this thread:

http://www.xlobby.com/forum/viewtopic.p ... hlight=x10

It gives some info on the exe that sdumas mentioned. The hsc exe is quite easy to use and eliminates the need for any intermediary.
