XLobby keeps loading to system tray...

Postby jryan1776 on Sun Mar 09, 2008 6:04 pm

Is there a way to disable XLobby from loading into the system tray?

For over a year XLobby would just start up maximized which is exactly what I wanted. Now for some reason, every time I execute XLobby (from a shortcut or from a girder event) it starts up down in the system tray and forces me to right click and select show from the click menu (show, hide, exit).

I run my HTPC from a standard IR remote, so whenever I have to break out the mouse or the vnc client, it's kind of a pain. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

There is a setting in the F2 config under the xnet tab called Disable GUI- make sure this is not checked.

Also, you'll want to make sure that the properties of your desktop shortcut is not configured to run minimized.

That fixed it! The disable GUI option was checked... Don't remember doing that, but I'm glad it's fixed.

Thanks everyone!
