Trailers in a new window

Postby dsp fan on Wed Oct 13, 2004 10:39 am

I will be putting in a dedicated HCPC for all things film. So i have removed much of the non-film associated buttons on the SKIN.

What would be really cool is having another button just for trailers from the apple web site, etc. I know there is an apple plugin (xoapweather looks awesome when i eventually get it fully plugged).

On the face of it it looks like the plugin pulls stuff to the movies driectory and then you have to look through your movie list as well as trailers all in the same screens (am i wrong)

What would be great is a spearate screen for trailers of up and coming films, perhaps you can select which ones you wnat to hold and for how long, that way the cineman experience when friends come over is see the trailers of stuff coming and then watch tonights movie.

If i have misunderstood some of the existing features my appologies. Perhaps someone can set me straight or a clever person can write some code.

cheers my two pence worth

take a look at premovie manager, Tony.

http://www.hometheatercomputer.net/slide.html

It allows you to set a number of random trailers before a film starts, sends x10 so you can dim the lights, and also has triva slides.

Simon,

oooh this looks interesting.

I guess I need to download some trailers to fill it, do you know of a site that makes it easy, apple like to stream !! they do have all the best trailers however.

So Does this get launched when you play a film or do this before, ??

I guess Xlobby has a button your press ?

I will play tonight on your advice and then search the forum for clues, thanks
